Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers is an NBA basketball team located in Portland, Oregon, United States. It was founded in 1970 and joined the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the same year. The team now belongs to the Northwest Division of the Western Conference.
The history of the Trail Blazers can be traced back to October 16, 1970, when they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-112 by three points and won the first game in the team's history. In the 1976-77 season, the Trail Blazers, led by Bill Walton, achieved a record of 49 wins and 33 losses, entered the playoffs for the first time and won the only championship trophy in the team's history.
