The Denver Nuggets is a professional basketball team located in Denver, Colorado, United States. It belongs to the National Basketball Association (NBA) and is currently a participating team in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The history of the Nuggets can be traced back to the 1967-76 season, when they participated in the ABA League. In 1976, with the merger of the ABA and the NBA, the Nuggets officially joined the NBA.
