Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets is a professional basketball team located in Houston, Texas, United States. It is based at the Toyota Center and belongs to the Western Conference and Southwest Division of the NBA. The team was founded in 1967 and joined the NBA in the 1967-68 season. It was originally located in San Diego. After four mediocre seasons, it moved to Houston in 1971 and changed its name to the Houston Rockets.
The Houston Rockets have won two NBA championships in history, in the 1993-1994 season and the 1994-1995 season. In these two seasons, the Rockets performed very well. In the 1993-94 season, the Rockets tied the league's record of 15 consecutive wins at the start of the season against the backdrop of Michael Jordan's retirement, and won 22 of the first 24 games, eventually winning the Midwest Division championship with a record of 58 wins and 24 losses. In the 1994-95 season, the Rockets got the help of "Glider" Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon and squeezed into the playoffs as the sixth in the West.
The Houston Rockets are very popular among Chinese fans, mainly because Chinese star Yao Ming once played for this team.
