Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors is a professional basketball team based in California, USA. It was founded in 1946 and joined the NBA in 1949. The team was originally founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, moved to San Francisco, California in 1962, and was renamed the San Francisco Warriors. It was not until 1971 that it was renamed the current Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors are one of the most dominant and successful teams in NBA history, having won the NBA championship seven times. Among them, they achieved a historic 73-9 regular season record in the 2015-16 season, breaking the 72-win record set by the Chicago Bulls. In addition, the Warriors also won the NBA championship in 2018 and 2021-22.
The Warriors' home court is the Chase Center (formerly Oracle Arena) in San Francisco. The team's current head coach is Steve Kerr. The Warriors have attracted the attention of fans around the world with their outstanding performance and strong lineup, especially their core player Stephen Curry, who was selected to the All-Rookie First Team in his rookie season and led the team to brilliant results in many seasons.
